If you’ve not already got your tickets, don’t leave it too long. The Swifts are holding a concert on Saturday 14th May at 7.30pm in the Holy Trinity Church, SWF and we will be supporting the Essex Air Ambulance.

In the presence of the Mayor and Mayoress of Chelmsford, we will be performing a plethora of songs, some new, some old and some just because we enjoy singing them!  This will be one of the last concerts that the Mayor and Mayoress will be attending as his term of office will be ending very shortly and the Essex Air Ambulance has been the Mayor’s chosen charity for this year.  We want to show him just what South Woodham can offer – so come along and give him a good send off!

Our talented guest for the evening is Fiona Dermit, who will be playing the clarinet and we are looking forward to performing with her for the first time.  Fiona is also a member of the Essex based quartet ‘Saxology’ where she plays a soprano sax.

Tickets are very reasonably priced at £10 or £8 for concessions (obtaininable in advance from Val on 01245 320635 or from the Information Centre, Baron Road – 01245 605611) and there will be a raffle and refreshments at the interval.  What better way to spend a Saturday night – we look forward to seeing you there.
